Fashion Designer and Style maker for Bisté Trendline Specialization:
Bridal and Debut Couture Formal Day and Evening Gowns DESIGNING PHILOSOPY
Fashion Designing is an art of individualism, a distinction of uniqueness and difference, deviant yet acceptably normal. My
designs are to
express an art of
comfort creativity and though my
style constantly evolves, the common thread is, the
feminine glamour and
elegance; even in a bit of
minimalism, it still has
some interesting details.

ABOUT BistéBefore “Bisté” business name was registered to the Department of Trade and Industry, it was a collection theme title, which has been initially introduced to the critics of the Golden Hands Fashion and Arts School in Manila. The initial collection featured the revival of the centuries old “bisté”, an Aklanon (Visayan) term for “baro” with twists of funky designs from the Aklanon hand-woven fibers of pińa, banana, and abaca in which had gathered a remarkable and encouraging reviews for the aspiring designer.
Bisté at Friday’s BistroAfter then, Bisté was presented here in Kalibo last May 31, 2002, in an in-house, bistro-type fashion show titled: “Bisté at Friday’s Bistro”, which was previewed in a different choreography: formal wears in an after-party drama, summer and swimwears in a beach scenario, ethnic ensembles in a lively tribal party, funky wears in a rave party and a theatrical presentation of wedding ensembles on the last part of the show. It has received a hearty appreciation especially to the young and hip of the town.
FIT TO BE TIED @ MUSEO IT AKEAN
June 11, 2005 at the opening night of photography exhibit of Mr. Eric Nepumuceno, Bisté is featured to showcase a 20-piece collection of colored and color-accented bridal ensembles, which celebrates feminine youthful elegance and glamorous brides. It includes daring yet conservative pieces in the presentation of funky, structural and [from where the show title begun] “fit to be tied” brides. The style evolve from sophisticated nostalgia to glam chic in the collections of cathedral, beach, garden and even a twist of the vintage of Edwardinian inspiration and Spanish Seńoritas. It gives an alternative reminder to every bride-to-be that white is the presence of all colors and that they could be in red, or pink, or blue, or green at the altar with their groom as long as they are fit to be tied.
Bisté Siete @ ATI PIÑA MODA
The Kalibo Ati-Atihan Management Board presented six fashion designers in a fashion show titled “ATI PIÑA MODA”. The sixth segment “Bisté Siete: the seven brides” featured 7-piece haute couture bridal collection inspired of the world-renowned Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival using indigenous hand-woven fabrics such as pińa silk, abaca, raffia and banana seda.
